- Like many other groups, the Rlaan have grave concerns over allowing most spacecraft to land directly on their planets, and utilize special purpose orbital craft (known to posess neither sufficient fuel nor kinetic energy for a truly impressive disaster) to handle the final leg of the journey, for cargo whose delivery is time-sensitive and for which less painstaking methods of re-entry are ill-advised.
