B&S decided to call their top model "Omni", confusing buyers into thinking that Omniscan products are just models of B&S, or that Omniscan was somehow bought by B&S which is not the case. Omniscan took them to court, and what B&S did was have a friend file a company called Omni Incorporated. B&S then took Omni to court for using the name of their top model scanner. Their friend, the owner of Omni, pleaded guilty, but all B&S asked for was a laughable sum: 240,000 credits for damages, and did not press a demand for a change of company name. This ruse set a court precedent that impedes Omniscan's suit from resulting in more than 240,000 credits in damages without extending the suit to Omni Incorporated, which now can't be sued for the same reason twice. All that Omniscan can do now is hire Burrows to bomb Omni Incorporated to implicate B&S. After success of the mission, Omniscan puts Burrows in touch with their partner company, Skybird Scanners, whose headquarters are in Firekka. After a few missions for Skybird, Burrows gets a lead into a Firkkan shipyard...''
