The Cherryh Mercantile Trust, more commonly known simply as the ''CMT'', was the precursor to the [[Faction:Interstellar Shipping and Mercantile Guild|Interstellar Shipping and Mercantile Guild]]. Named for its base of operations, [[Terminology:Cherryh station|Cherryh Station]], the CMT was primarily controlled by the [[Faction:Highborn|Highborn]], but many other interests held stakes.<br />
