Earth vs Terra
- Question re the Vega Strike universe: has Earth also been referred to as "Terra" as it is in a number of different SF universes? --RobertDaeley 10:32, 21 May 2005 (PDT)
- I always wondered why we would call "earth" something different in the future. I really don't know how old the term "earth" for our home planet is, but i doubt that it will change in the far future (unless there are big changes in the used languages)
That said it doesn't matter for me which term is used since they mean the exact same thing anyway (see terraforming ;) Pontiac 03:09, 22 May 2005 (PDT)
