In 2669, the Firekkans withdrew from the Confederation as a result of the cease-fire with the Kilrathi in 2668 (and probably as a result of Confed fecklessness and shirking their treaty obligations). At the time of their withdrawal, they form the Firekkan Planetary Alliance. By 2678, the Firekkans have claimed the T'kirsa system.
