Employed in increasingly large numbers by regional guard units, EMP torpedos seek to sufficiently damage the electronics of a vessel so as to render it out of user control. Such devices, in the absence of an atmosphere to assist with EMP effects, must be quite large, and have thus been adapted to a torpedo chassis.
