Vues

Cockpit View Keys

  • 1_EN.png = View Forward. This view is what appears initially in flight and is otherwise known as the cockpit view. This view contains all the necessary information and displays to fly. While in view forward, pressing 1_EN.png will change from the cockpit view (with cockpit struts) to the Heads Up Display (HUD). The HUD provides the same information as the forward view but removes the cockpit surround. Press the key once more to return to cockpit view.
  • 2_EN.png = View Left. This view is looking through the cockpit plasglass over your left shoulder.
  • 3_EN.png = View Right. This view is looking through the cockpit plasglass over your right shoulder.
  • 4_EN.png = View Reverse. As a pilot cannot look back through the ship, this view represents a camera mounted and looking to the rear of the ship.

Camera View

A camera view is best described as a single viewpoint or eye located in one position in space. The Panning Camera's (5_EN.png and 6_EN.png) position is movable. While in these views, use these keys Q_EN.png Z_EN.png S_EN.png F_EN.png to move the camera position in the appropriate direction.

Camera View Keys

  • 5_EN.png = Chase cam. This view seats a camera behind and above your ship's engines, looking forward. This position is static no matter the ship's movements. Best imagined as having a second ship tailing your current ship, with you in that second cockpit. This view allows you to examine all markings and detail on your ship.
  • 6_EN.png = Panning Camera. This view positions a camera at a single point in space, facing your ship. You may rotate the camera about your ship using the panning keys.
  • 7_EN.png = Target Camera. This view places the camera at a location looking past your ship towards your current target.
  • 8_EN.png = Target Panning Camera. This view positions a camera at a single point in space, facing your target. You may rotate the camera about your target using the panning keys.
  • 9_EN.png = Zoom View In. While in one of the camera views, this function will move the viewpoint towards the object viewed.
  • 0_EN.png = Zoom View Out. While in one of the camera views, this function will move the viewpoint towards the object viewed.
  • I_EN.png = Screenshot. Takes a screenshot of your current view, removing any targeting brackets or docking clamps from the shot.
