- Brought into service towards the end of the Aeran-Rlaan conflict, this design had actually been in the production pipeline for some time, stimulated by initial Aeran reflections upon Rlaan tactics. However, the Aera were not initially preparing for open conflict with the Rlaan, and had not prioritized the implementation of these plans until the start of conflict. Frequent redesigns due to incoming combat data concerning the foe it was intended to counter greatly delayed the introduction of this vessel. The Anaxandridas was, however, a great improvement over the Anaxander - a much more surviveable craft armed much more effectively for situations when the desired standoff tactics are no longer tenable. While still less capable of absorbing damage than its Rlaan counterparts, the offensive firepower available to the Anaxandridas is not to be underestimated, although it has come at the cost of specializing the defensive measures taken towards combat with the Rlaan. This makes the Anaxandridas one of the most interceptor reliant capital vessels in existence.
