| Comments: | Though the base design shows its age, it has aged well and survived upgrade cycles without full redesign. Nonetheless, it is not heavily used outside of Andolian systems, with non-Andolian systems in the Protectorate being more commonly served by Camus class patrol frigates. This appears to be a matter of cost as much anything else, as the heavier Patterson class vessels are overprovisioned for regions without active hostilities. |
