Terminology |
Terraform (-ing) means loosely translated Making sth. earth-like.
Terraform (-ing)
Terraforming means to transform a landscape (the climatic conditions and more) on another planet into one having the characteristics of landscapes on Earth.
This is a Human term for this (duh) since Terra is just another word for Earth, the Humans homeworld.
Terraforming alterations methods
- Temperature alteration (e.g.: adding heat)
- Conversion of the atmospheric composition (e.g.: add/remove gases).
- Altering the rotation speed and/or -angle of the planet.
