If you do not get answers from the FAQ you can search for ansers ask in Vegastrike forum.
ALOT of questions have been already answered there, so searching may help you much faster than asking straight away ;)
This of course doesn't mean you can't ask in the forums :D, but please help the community (and yourself) saving time and effort. :D

Is Vegastrike free to download?
Yes, Vegastrike is not only free as in beer, but more important free as in speech.
VS is distributed under the GNU/GPL License.
You can read the detailed license here.
(The free as in beer isn't defined in the License, so you may see Vegastrike being sold elsewhere:)
