Purth
The Purth are an uplifted client species of the Andolians. In large part an experiment in synthesis of work done by the Unadorned and the Mechanists, the Purth are cybernetic beings, with assistive AI and built in networking capacity. It is only through these upgrades that a Purth achieves something much like sentience.
Although they sometimes operate autonomously from their Andolian patrons, Purth never do so alone. Only by networking their minds together will a group of Purth be confident enough to venture off without guidance.FIXME
Physical characteristics
The Purth were chosen primarily because of their very hardy constitution, and have proved themselves invaluable in high gravity applications. Each individual Purth is quite large, comparable to passenger-carrying motor vehicles, and covered in a skin heavily composed of silicones. The silicones are at their most present on the footpads, which allow the Purth to walk across still-cooling lava flows and traverse boiling mineral springs, both of which are common on their homeworld.
The Purth are bipedal, but not upright in posture, balancing their fore-region with a sizeable tail. The Purth have four arms, very small by comparison to their enormous legs, but still overpowering by human standards, low slung, two on each side, emerging from the torso behind the head, with each pair of shoulders very near one another in comparison to both arm length and distance from the legs. The Purth do not have much of a neck to speak of. Although there is a point of differentiation between the torso and head, it is not much more flexible than the torso itself. The Purth have six eyes, two large eyes on the side of the head providing broad peripheral vision, primarily motion sensing, two smaller eyes halfway down the snout that point nearly straight forward (the "hunting" eyes), and two eyes on short retractable stalks that can pivot to look either at what is being put in the mouth or being held beneath in the arms. The Purth head slopes down rapidly in a curve from the top before jutting out in a dolphin-like snout. However, the Purth have no lower jaw as such. Rather, they have a retractable pair of mouthparts that engage in one of two primary motions: moving back and forth as a single unit, grinding whatever is cupped in the hollow between them and the underside of the snout against the toothy ridges lining the bottom of the snout, or splitting out to each side and then snapping back together, exposing whatever was between the mouthparts to their interlocking cutting surfaces.

Religion
The Purth were pre-sentient before the Andolians altered them, and are universally predisposed to ignore religious issues entirely.
Number scheme
Purth use binary, due to their number processing being heavily computer assisted.
