The Statistical Mode is the default that first appears when the Map Screen is activated.

Buttons

FIXME Small buttons still needed for this. See VsWiki:Templates#Interface_buttons

  • [Nav/Info]
Toggle between statistical and Map mode.
  • [Sectors]
Displays a list of all explored systems and sectors. A system highlighted in red is your source or starting system – usually the system you are located in. Clicking on any other system will highlight it in green - your currently selected system. Clicking a second time will highlight it red, making it the source system, and removing the red highlight from any other system. You may click on a sector to view the systems of that sector.
  • [Target Selected]
Used while in the Sectors screen. After selecting a system (green) this function locks it in as your destination system, highlighting it yellow.
  • [Ship]
Display information on your current ship's physical statistics. It records the current value ratings for your ship's armor, shields, weapons, maneuverability statistics, radar detection capability, propulsion systems and so forth.
  • [Mission]
Display reputation ratings ranging from positive (green, allied) down to negative numbers (red, enemies), with several other ratings in between. The second number recorded is the number of that faction's ships destroyed by the player. At the bottom of the list is a record of Total Kills made. This screen also displays help information, providing a basic guide on how to play Vega Strike.
  • [Nav Comp]
Refer to Navigation Computer below.
  • [Viewpoints]
Function not available under information.

Factional relationships and ship information may also be accessed on a base via the Player Information Screen.
